Engineers! To Arms!

So this past weekend I took the first precarious step towards a (hopefully) promising engineering career (in the near future, at least) by taking the EIT, or Engineering In Training test. It was held on the Pomona fairgrounds in a complex that used to be an airplane hangar. There were at least six thousand people taking this test. It was eight hours of rigorous testing, with four STRAIGHT hours in the morning, and then a lunch break, and then another four hours in the afternoon. You were given a reference manual to use equations and such. The test covered EVERYTHING scientific. Statics, mechanics, chemistry, electricity, ethics, economics, and the devil incarnate, thermodynamics. I do not think that I will ever fully grasp the concept of entropy

Anyways, now all I can do is sit back and fret for the results, which are mailed to you in thirteen weeks. That's right, it takes thirteen weeks to scan a scantron, figure out the normal distribution curve, and determine who passes and who fails. USC is amazing and has a passing rate of 90%, but that means there are still some who don't pass. Crossing my fingers for thirteen weeks

Life's been pretty good. The weather has been ridiculous the past several days, making me shweat and such. Work's been fine. Four-twenty is this Sunday. Tax day is tomorrow. Oh my
